Bringing Hope to West GA Students
In West GA, many students face the challenges of poverty and homelessness, struggling with basic needs that impact their ability to learn and thrive. Compassion in Action, an initiative of The Sewell Mill Foundation, is committed to raising awareness and providing resources to support these students.

Dress Code: Derby Day Cocktail
Compassion meets celebration at Gallop For Good, our Derby Day-themed fundraiser supporting students in Haralson County, Bremen City, Carrollton City, and Carroll County Schools.
This evening is all about community, connection, and impact. Every net dollar raised will go directly toward helping local kids meet their most essential needs—things like properly fitting shoes, season-appropriate clothing, backpacks, food, and more. We’re partnering with organizations like PASS and equipping school social workers and counselors with the funds and flexibility to make sure no child is left behind.
What to Expect:
It’s a chance to come together for a night of fun and philanthropy—because when kids have what they need, they can focus on learning, growing, and reaching their full potential.
Join us in making a difference—one child, one need, one finish line at a time
Your presence matters.
By attending Gallop For Good, you’re not just showing up for a fun night—you’re showing up for the kids in our community who need us most. Grab your tickets, rally your friends, and help us make a lasting impact—right here at home.
